p until 1998 Donna had from time to time entered her artwork in local art shows and competitions and had won several awards including 1st Place awards now and then. Then in 1998 she entered some of her art in the Georgia National Fair competitions, which is not just the State of Georgia but is also an exposition for the Southeastern United States. When the fair was over Donna's art had won 15 award ribbons (no, that's not a typo, it is 15). Not only that but they liked her work so much that she was invited to come back in 1999 as an "Artist in Residence," a singular honor to say the least.
Well, the 1999 Georgia National Fair has been over for about three weeks now and this year Donna's art received 14 award ribbons. Her husband and friends are kidding her about the "slippage" in the number of awards she received this time.

Needless to say the popularity and recognition of her work have increased greatly in the last two years.

It is for these reasons that we think Donna's art is rapidly becoming investment quality in nature.
